On Monday, 15 September 2025, the Company will run the second in its series of webinars which aim to help you with your retirement planning.

On 16 June 2025, the Company is running a webinar on Investing your (Aon OnePlan) pension savings. It will cover the key things you need to know about investing and how to make your investment choices.

If you have pension savings in Aon’s BigBlue Touch pension arrangement, you’ll have received an email from the Company with further details of the bulk transfer option to move those savings into the Aon OnePlan in April 2025.

We’ve highlighted the key points below.

In early March, you’ll receive an email from Aegon, the Aon OnePlan administrator, asking if you want to take part in the bulk transfer.

This email will come from 'email@emails.aegon.co.uk' and go to your nominated email address for Aon OnePlan communications.

The email will contain a link to The Pension Lab’s website, a third-party pension transfer specialist.

If you’d like to take part in the bulk transfer, you’ll need to create a Pension Lab account and follow the instructions.

You must respond on or before 15 April 2025 to take part.
The bulk transfer will take place on 25 April 2025.

If you take part in the bulk transfer, we’ll invest your BigBlue Touch savings in line with your Aon OnePlan investment choices as at 25 April 2025.

There’ll be a blackout period for 10 working days from 18 April 2025. During this time, you won’t be able to make any changes to your Aon OnePlan pension savings.

Next April, you will have an opportunity to take part in a bulk transfer.

For every member who wants to take part, Aon will transfer their Bigblue Touch pension savings into their Aon OnePlan account. It is an opportunity to transfer with Aon making all the arrangements and covering any charges for you.

At the time of the transfer, we will invest your Bigblue Touch pension savings in line with the investment choices you have made in the Aon OnePlan at the date the transfer takes place.

Impact of data protection laws:

Unfortunately, we cannot simply transfer your Bigblue Touch pension savings invested as they are, because data protection laws prevent us from using information about your fund choices in Bigblue Touch.

In recent months, you’ll have received communications from Aon about moving you into a new section of the Aon Retirement Plan (the ARP), called the Aon OnePlan section.

You automatically became a member of the Aon OnePlan on 1 October 2024. And going forward, all new hires will be automatically enrolled into the Aon OnePlan.

In other words, the Aon OnePlan section is Aon’s main pension arrangement for UK employees actively building up retirement savings. You’re in good company.
